Little League® Baseball Canada is a non-profit organization to help and voluntarily assist young boys and girls in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being through the medium of baseball and softball with guidance and exemplary leadership. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
Our program is structured to provide an outlet for healthy activity and training under solid leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome, community participation and to instill leadership qualities in boys and girls ages 4 – 16, through Little League Baseball, an international, educational, non-profit organization.
The focus on community and volunteerism makes Little League a great social activity for the children playing as well as the adults and parents who are watching the games, coaching the teams, or dedicating their time in other ways to enhance the Little League experience.
Life-long friendships have been forged, communities have been made stronger and most, importantly, the children playing are having fun with an emphasis on the virtues of teamwork, fair-play, and sportsmanship.
Little League is designed to develop superior citizens and not superior Athletes.
