Ancaster Little League is located in Ancaster, Ontario. Approximately one hour drive from Toronto and is located on the western end of Lake Ontario. Ancaster is now part of the NEW City of Hamilton.
Ancaster Little League provides recreational opportunities to a population of 25,000 within the boundaries of the old Township of Ancaster. The League has operated continuously since 1957.
It all starts with the love of the game, the excitement of being on the field and the cheers from the crowd. Blastball & T-ball teach the basic concepts of the game and the fundamentals of how the game is played. It is all about everyone having fun at the diamond!
Little League is played on local diamonds throughout the spring & summer. All players are assessed for all of their fundamental baseball skill at the beginning of the season at a mass try-out. Teams will then be drafted based on an even distribution of skills across all the teams. The season will ends in a championship tournament.
Major & Minor players are invited to participate in the District Team try-outs for a chance to play on a team the could progress to the Provincial & Canadian Championships and play in the Little League World Series. Try-outs are every June.
Ancaster hosts three (3) tournaments for the Little League age group – John Stokoe, the Fathers Day Classic and every August long weekend the World T-Ball Tournament. With 35+ teams from all over Ontario & the USA coming to play T-ball for four (4) days.
